How to Enter Your Song(s)

CD Submission: 
Fill out the online form
Mail in a typed sheet of your lyrics, a check, money order, or a copy of your EventBrite confirmation receipt, and a CD version of your song. If submitting more than one song, you may send it all in one package, but make sure you have separate forms, lyric sheets, and CDs for each submission. CDs must be clearly labeled with the contestant(s) name(s), ONE email contact, and song title.
MP3 Submission:
Fill out the online form 
Send an email to info@alchemycompetition.org with the following attachments: an MP3 file of each song you are submitting, a Word document of your lyrics, and a copy of your EventBrite confirmation receipt. 
YouTube Submission:
If you do not have access to equipment to record your song, you may submit a YouTube version of your song.  After uploading your YouTube video, email info@alchemycompetition.org  and include the link to the video, a Word document attachment of your lyrics, and a copy of your EventBrite confirmation receipt.
Entries will be accepted July 15 - August 15, 2015.  All entries must be postmarked by or submitted via email on or before 11:59 pm (Central Standard Time) August 15.
  • Please read the complete list of rules and regulations before starting your submission.
  • The fee for the first song is $35; each additional entry is $15.
  • All submissions must be original material from the entrant(s).
  • You may enter an unlimited amount of songs, but each song must have a separate completed submission form.
  • You may enter songs in different genres.
  • Make sure you check the appropriate age group division.
  • Mark your desired genre for each entry.
Submission Tips:
The quality of your recording will not be judged, but keep in mind that the cleaner the recording, the better your song sounds.

Double check to make sure all necessary attachments are included before mailing or emailing your submission. Your entry could be disqualified if all information isn't received by 12:00 am on Aug. 15. 
  • Your song(s) as an MP3 file, CD format, or YouTube link.
  • EventBrite confirmation receipt.
  • Typed Word document of lyrics.
